Where It All Began

I fell in love with romance through Sweet Valley High and twice-weekly library trips with my mom. Those early reading marathons shaped who I am today: a voracious reader who devours over 100 romance novels annually and understands the genre from the inside out.

My Path to Editing

I’ve always noticed details in books—the kind that can pull a reader right out of the story. When my friend was preparing to publish her debut romance novel and worried about affording professional editing, I offered to help. She trusted me with her manuscript, and working with her confirmed what I’d suspected: this is the work I’m meant to do.

What I Bring to Your Work

With a dual M.S. in IT Project Management and Information Security, I bring systematic thinking and organizational discipline to creative work. My background means I excel at learning new systems, managing complex projects, and staying organized under pressure—all skills that translate directly to manuscript editing.

My approach combines technical precision with reader intuition. I read word by word rather than skimming. And as a regular poly-reader, I can juggle multiple projects without confusion, keeping storylines and character details distinct.

Why Judgement-Free Editing Matters

As both a reader and editor in the romance community, I’ve experienced the judgment firsthand. The dismissive looks when you mention reading romance. The shocked reactions to darker or more taboo tropes. But authors face even more scrutiny—not just for what they write, but for the courage it takes to share stories from their imagination.

I created my editing practice to be the safe space I wish existed for every author writing spicy, dark, or kink-positive romance. You deserve an editor who won’t judge your heat levels, your tropes, or the stories that come from your heart—someone who will strengthen your craft while protecting what makes your voice uniquely yours.

Beyond Editing

I’m a mom, wife, IT security professional, small-business owner, and content creator. I understand what it means to juggle competing priorities, to struggle with overwhelm, and to need grace when progress feels impossible. This lived experience informs my editing approach: I work with authors as whole people, not just manuscripts.

If you’re looking for an editor who understands your work, your genre, and the realities of your creative life, I’d love to talk. Let’s work together to polish your story so it shines exactly as you envisioned.
